The BSc (Honours) Digital & Technology Solutions Professional degree programme offers education and training for six specific job roles, each having set pathways within the degree. These are as follows:
Cyber Security Analyst
Through the Degree Apprenticeship delivery model, we are seeking to work directly with employers to ensure work based projects are embedded into the Apprentice learning whilst ensuring those projects are relevant to the workplace and are of benefit to the business.
The apprentice will take all the assessments of the embedded degree programme. They will create maintain and complete an e-Portfolio. The synoptic project occurs toward the end of the apprenticeship. The learner chooses from three projects. Its purpose is to mimic the work environment. The learner can plan, design, implement and test some artefact. An independent assessor takes a holistic view of the learner’s competencies and judges whether they meet the outcomes of the standard.
The End Point Assessment will be carried out by the University, and be based on the e-Portfolio and Final Year Project, and an interview.
The BSc (Honours) Digital & Technology Solutions Professional degree programme is to be delivered over 4 years on a day release (full day and evening) basis with modules constituting either 100 or 80 credits each academic year.
The degree programme consists of a programme of taught and work based modules, with a total of 13 core modules which must be taken by all Apprentices on all pathways, combined with 4 pathway specific modules.
In order to apply for entry to this Degree Apprenticeship, you must be employed and meet the entry requirements for the BSc (Honours) Digital & Technology Solutions Professional degree programme for September 2017.

Any one of the following:
• A Level BCC • BTEC National Diploma DMM • Access to HE qualifications with 9 Distinctions and 36 Merits • Equivalent level 3 qualifications worth 112 UCAS points
Applicants must hold 5 GCSEs A-C including Maths and English or equivalent (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above).
