The apprentice agency may provide additional or alternative recruitment and consultancy services for colleges, training providers and/or recruitment agencies. These are subject to a separate agreement, terms and conditions and fee structure which shall be agreed prior to us undertaking these additional services. When you apply for a vacancy

You are solely responsible for any information submitted when you register on this website and/or apply for a vacancy. You are responsible for ensuring that all the information you provide is accurate and up-to-date. You agree to indemnify The apprentice agency against any claim, loss, liability, expense and/or damage as a result of you submitting incorrect or misleading information.

We will use the information supplied by you to undertake the recruitment process and associated administrative functions. This includes us passing your information (including sensitive personal information) to prospective employers, colleges, training providers and their agents as outlined in our privacy policy.

If you accept a position with and/or enter into a contract with an employer, college or training provider or other third party who is named or referred to on this website, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are comfortable with the terms of that contract and to take legal advice if necessary.

When you advertise a vacancy

You are solely responsible for any information submitted when you register on this website and/or advertise a vacancy. You warrant that the vacancy you are listing is authentic and that the information about the vacancy is accurate and up-to-date.

The apprentice agency will forward all suitable applications for the vacancy to you for review and shortlisting. You will comply with all relevant legislation including, but not limited to the Equality Act 2010 when shortlisting candidates for interview and/or offer of employment and the Data Protection Act 1998 with regard to storage and use of personal information supplied to you about candidates. You agree to indemnify The apprentice agency against any claim, loss, liability, expense and/or damage as a result of you failing to comply with the appropriate legislation.

You are responsible for verifying to your own satisfaction the identity of all candidates, their eligibility to work in the United Kingdom, validity of qualifications, work experience, education and any other information provided as part of their application. The apprentice agency accepts no liability for any losses as a result of reliance on information provided by candidates or as a result of all and any subsequent dealings with candidates.

Where you appoint a candidate introduced to you by The apprentice agency you must notify us within seven days. Introductory fees are payable within 30 days of the date of an invoice which will be raised by The apprentice agency upon notification of successful recruitment. Interest at a rate of 3% per annum above the base lending rate of Lloyds Banking Group Plc may be charged on late payments. The apprentice agency reserves the right to recover all reasonable expenses incurred in obtaining payment.

The apprentice agency will use its best endeavours to ensure all our clients successfully fill their vacancies but we can not guarantee that you will receive any applications, that the candidates will be suitable for the role, that candidates will attend for interview or that candidates will be eligible for enrolment on an apprenticeship, traineeship or other programmes. Where a fee or part-payment has been made prior to recruitment no refunds will be made in the event of failure to place a suitable candidate in a role.


The apprentice agency reserves the right to terminate your website access, to withdraw any vacancy currently being advertised, to refuse to advertise any vacancy submitted, not to process your application for a vacancy or any combination of the above at any time at our absolute discretion without explanation or prior notification.

Contracting online

Nothing on this website is intended to be nor should be construed as an offer to enter into a contractual relationship with you or anyone else, except for these terms and conditions which govern the relationship between us in relation to your use of the website and/or recruitment services provided.

The failure by either party to enforce at any time or for any period of one or more of the terms and conditions herein shall not be a waiver of them or of the right at any time subsequently to enforce all terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions supersede any previous agreements, arrangements, documents or other undertakings either written or oral.

Jurisdiction and acceptance of these terms and conditions

This website is controlled and operated by The Workshop (Sheffield) Limited from its offices in England. The formation, existence, construction, performance, validity in all aspects whatsoever of these terms and conditions, or of any term of these terms and conditions, or any dispute in relation to the materials contained in this website, shall be governed by English law.
